Louis J. Lamatina maintains a general practice of law in New Jersey with emphasis on Family Law. He specializes in representing clients in matters involving separation, divorce, child custody/parenting time, support, property division, and all post-divorce issues. Mr. Lamatina also works on all types of litigation, as well real estate purchases, sales and financing.

Louis J. Lamatina was a former Mayor of the Borough of Emerson from 2007 through 2010 and from 2015 to 2018. He was also a member of the Emerson Planning Board from 1995 to 1997, 2007 to 2011 and 2015 through 2018. He served as prosecutor for The Borough of Oradell in 1999.

Mr. Lamatina is a resident of Emerson, New Jersey. Mr. Lamatina is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association, a current panelist for the Bergen County Matrimonial Early Settlement Panel and an attorney volunteer for Alternatives to Domestic Violence. He is currently President of the Manhattan College Alumni Society.
